Erath High School recently named Mary Grace White as their 2024-2025 Student of the Year. Mary Grace is the daughter of Yvanne White and Jesse White. She has four siblings who are all EHS Alumni; Garrett White (2008), Vance White (2009), Marina White Nero (2015), and Margo White Harris (2017)
Mary Grace has maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school and is an active member of the Beta Club where she has served as the Louisiana State Beta Representative and currently serves as the EHS Beta Club co-President. She has been active on the EHS Student Council for all four years of high school and currently serves as the Senior Class President and E-Board Secretary. Mary Grace is a four-year member of the EHS Soccer Team and Track Team. She is also a member of the EHS Extreme Dance Team, and is a two-time UCA All-American and is a member of the National Runner-Up Game Day Competition Team. She was crowned the 75th Erath High Homecoming Queen in 2024.
Mary Grace plans to attend Louisiana State University to major in pre-law or biology with the intention of becoming an orthodontist or lawyer.
