Dozier Elementary recently announced Caroline Girouard as their 2024-2025 Dozier Elementary School Student of the Year.
The Erath 5th grader is an active member of the Dozier Elementary Beta and 4H clubs. Currently, she is a Beta Leadership Representative, and she serves as the school’s 4H President.
The active pre-teen has been on the Principal’s List (4.0 GPA) each year since 1st grade and has been an Accelerated Reader Top Reader. Caroline is part of the Vermilion Parish Talented Music Program.
Outside of school, she served as an Honorary Youth Board Member of the Casting for a Cause Fundraising Board and has volunteered to assemble the Vermilion Baby Bundle. She also assisted in the Casting for a Cause fundraising event and volunteered to assist her religion teacher to help with religion classes.
Caroline has participated in extracurricular activities in English Horseback Riding, Cajun Music Camp, LSA Gymnastics, and Dancing @ The Studio.
Now, she moves to the district-level competition in the Elementary Student of the Year contest.
Caroline is the daughter of Craig and Delia Girouard and has one brother, David.
